Dynaudio boosts the Core series with next-generation enhancements

Dynaudio announces the release of firmware version 1.1 for its acclaimed Core series. The new firmware improves low-frequency response, offering greater depth and precision in studio monitoring.

This update introduces a subtle yet significant enhancement in the low-frequency range. Specifically, it provides a slight boost around the port tuning and baffle step, resulting in greater depth, clarity, and precision in critical listening environments.

Firmware version 1.1 is available for Dynaudio Core products, including:

• - Core 7
• - Core 47
• - Core 59
• - Core Sub

This update also ensures better alignment with Dynaudio’s latest models: Core 5 and Core Sub Compact. To maintain consistent level balance and performance across multi-speaker systems, Dynaudio recommends that the mentioned Core models be updated to the latest firmware.

Get your free firmware update stickers

Firmware version 1.1 includes new gain adjustments that are not reflected in the existing SPL switch values on the rear panel.

For this reason, Dynaudio offers free stickers that can be placed on the back of the monitor and clearly indicate the new input sensitivity.

These stickers help users easily identify which units are running firmware 1.1 and maintain proper gain staging in the system.
