In collaboration with the Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) project, Shure announces that the MV7+ is among the first microphones to receive OBS certification.
The OBS Project certification ensures that the MV7+ microphone meets the necessary functionality criteria for users to have a positive experience when using the microphone with OBS. The certification also indicates that Shure and the OBS project will conduct ongoing tests to confirm that the microphone continues to work seamlessly with OBS.
When you're streaming, technology should assist you in creating and expressing yourself, not hinder you. Streamers deserve to know that their audio equipment will work flawlessly and seamlessly with their streaming software. That's why we've invested in certifying the MV7+, reaffirming our commitment to providing outstanding audio to the hundreds of thousands of streamers who rely on OBS every day, says Eduardo Valdés, Associate Vice President of Global Marketing and Product Management.
The MV7+, launched in April, is the ideal choice for streamers looking to capture broadcast-quality audio even in complex environments. With Shure's state-of-the-art Voice Isolation Technology, the focus remains on the user's voice, avoiding annoying background noises, ensuring exceptional audio quality in every recording and streaming session.
It also includes a new and innovative Integrated Digital Signal Processor (DSP) that powers a range of advanced features, such as Enhanced Auto Level Mode, Digital Popper Stopper™ for better control of distracting sounds caused by pronunciation and breathing, Real-Time Noise Eliminator, and Adjustable Reverberation.
Thanks to its exclusive fully touch-sensitive live metering LED display and numerous customization options, the MV7+ sets a new standard in sound quality and customization for streamers.
