New ASM application for more efficient and intuitive sound management

Ashun Sound Machines (ASM) introduces the new ASM Manager desktop application, which simplifies interaction with the Hydrasynth, alongside improved stage and studio reliability provided by the Firmware 2.2 update for its acclaimed line of Hydrasynth digital wave-morphing synthesizers —significantly enhancing their performance and usability—, available from May 15.

As a dedicated desktop application designed to simplify Hydrasynth interaction, ASM Manager replaces ASM’s original Hydrasynth Manager with a refreshed user interface and smoother workflow, making sound management more efficient and intuitive.

Among its built-in features are:

• - Sorting by patch name, category, and color
• - Patch name search
• - Color tagging directly within the browser
• - Organization by favorites
• - Integrated Update Device function for simplified firmware installation
• - Export List of patch banks as Microsoft Excel® files for easy reference

In short, ASM Manager enhances daily Hydrasynth interaction, whether organizing sound libraries, performing updates, or customizing favorites.

The Firmware 2.2 update focuses on performance improvements, greater system stability, and seamless compatibility with ASM Manager, ensuring each Hydrasynth model delivers reliable and consistent operation on stage and in the studio. Since the Hydrasynth Keyboard and Hydrasynth Desktop launched in 2019, followed by the Hydrasynth Deluxe and the compact Hydrasynth Explorer in 2021, the Hydrasynth family has earned a reputation for sonic depth, expressive performance capabilities, and a forward-thinking interface. These latest updates further refine that foundation.
