This is an instrument based on the single-pickup classic that even preceded the Telecaster in Fender history. Everything about this instrument takes you back to that era, with a lightweight ash body in Dirty White Blonde or two-color Sunburst with lacquered Relic finishes, and a spectacular ’55 Telecaster single-coil bridge pickup.
It has staggered, beveled magnets and, as a special touch, the guitar comes with a kit including a ’55 Telecaster single-coil neck pickup, pickguard and controls, in case you want the sound of both pickups together. Other premium features are its quartersawn maple “Soft V” profile neck with an incredible Heavy Relic treatment on the back, a 9.5”-radius maple fingerboard with 21 narrow jumbo frets, a 3-way selector, a single-ply 5-hole white pickguard, a ’55 Telecaster bridge, American Vintage tuners and a Custom Shop Limited Edition neck plate. It includes a blonde LTD case containing a 1955 Fender Downbeat catalog.
