1963 Relic Stratocaster
The Fender Custom Shop 1963 Relic Stratocaster takes you straight back to the period when surf music was at its peak and the Strat underwent some notable design changes. Its alder body comes in Relic lacquer finishes in 3-Color Sunburst, Black, Candy Apple Red and Olympic White.
Its distinctive tone comes from three ’60s Stratocaster single-coil pickups (reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup) with a modern 5-way pickup selector. Other premium features include a quartersawn maple neck with a comfortable ’60s “oval C” profile, a 9.5”-radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 narrow jumbo frets, a three-ply mint green pickguard, vintage white knobs, an American Vintage bridge and American Vintage tuners. It comes with a brown textured vinyl case with red interior.
