Nektar Technology Inc. announces the launch of the new Impact LX25 and LX61 USB MIDI controller keyboards, featuring the DAW integration with most music applications that Nektar keyboards are known for.
The Impact LX25 comes equipped with a 25-note velocity-sensitive, synth-action keyboard with pitch bend, modulation wheel, fader, 8 pots, 8 pads, transport controls, a three-digit LED display, a footswitch jack and USB. Its functionality and compact size offer access to DAW parameters and navigation similar to that of its bigger siblings.
The Impact LX25 and LX61 stand out for their direct integration with music applications including Bitwig Studio, Cubase, Digital Performer, GarageBand, Logic Pro, Nuendo, Reaper, Reason, Sonar and Studio One.
The integration also includes track and patch navigation, as well as Mixer and instrument control button switching. Parameters are pre-assigned and include functions for opening DAW windows directly from the Impact LX. The extensive transport function map, in addition to traditional transport buttons, also includes options for setting left and right locator points, loop points, an on/off button and much more.
