What is ReWave? It is a natural, passive preamp for your stringed instruments. It's designed to eliminate feedback and make your acoustic instrument sound better by redistributing the sound coming out of the soundhole of your guitar, bass, or ukulele.
It requires no tools to install: you simply order it to the size of your instrument's soundhole and install it in less than five minutes. It keeps feedback in check and regulates the bass, mids, and treble of your instrument, making it sound more balanced and handing the engineer a more mix-ready sound than without ReWave. It helps your acoustic instrument “cut” through the mix and the other instruments more easily, which shortens soundcheck times and improves the quality of the signal you deliver.
It's made in the USA from maple and naval brass. It's not a classic soundhole cover; it doesn't kill the sound.
