Win a pair of Genelec 8030 monitors by guessing which unit will be Genelec’s one millionth monitor. The contest is open until December 24, 2016.
Since 1978, Genelec has manufactured one million active monitors. To celebrate the occasion, Genelec will feature the Millionth Monitor as a highlight in the museum at its factory in Iisalmi, Finland. But first, the company is inviting everyone to guess which model will have the honor of being Genelec’s Millionth Monitor.
Contest rules
The contest will run from December 1 to December 24, 2016
The winner will be selected from among all those who guess the model of the Millionth Monitor manufactured by Genelec
The winner will be notified personally by email at the end of December. The winner’s name will also be published on Genelec’s social media channels
The contest is open to everyone over 18 years of age, except Genelec staff and their families, and Genelec distributors, their employees and their families
The contest is organized by Genelec Oy and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn
The prize
To this end, a contest has been organized that will run throughout December, open to everyone. All those who guess which will be Genelec’s Millionth Monitor will have the chance to win a pair of red Genelec 8030 active monitors. In addition, for each contest participant, Genelec will donate 5 cents to Helsinki’s Special Music Centre Resonaari, a music school for people with special needs.
To enter the contest, just go to the website (click here) and select the monitor you think will be Genelec’s Millionth Monitor. The pair of 8030 monitors will be drawn among those who guess the model of the Millionth Monitor correctly.
Which will be Genelec’s Millionth Monitor? The answer will be revealed on December 24.
