Waves introduces the eMotion LV1 mixer, a new vision of the concept of live mixing. LV1 eMotion is a revolutionary software mixer for FOH, monitor, and broadcast engineers. Based on Waves SoundGrid technology, this software mixer delivers superior sound quality as well as the fast, comfortable workflow required in highly demanding live environments.
SoundGrid Network
eMotion LV1 uses the SoundGrid audio network infrastructure. It can connect to any compatible hardware or server, so you can take the mixer anywhere and work with it wherever you like. At home, on a trip, in the hotel, on the tour bus... This way you can have all the time you need to work on your sessions (even offline) and make sure they're fully prepared for the event.
An eMotion LV1 system consists of at least one host computer (PC or Mac) to control the mixer, a SoundGrid server to process all the plug-ins, and one of the SoundGrid-compatible I/O hardware devices. All of this together with a 1 Gb Ethernet switch to connect all the equipment.
Optimized Integration
The wide variety of available SoundGrid interfaces allows powerful versatility, integration, and scalability of the LV1 with existing systems:

Intuitive Workflow
You can control eMotion LV1 using multitouch screens and various portable devices, and it can be controlled by up to four screens or a single laptop or tablet. No matter which device you're using, eMotion LV1 has the same workflow, with an intuitive built-in user interface to ensure great speed and flexibility of operation.
eMotion LV1 offers unprecedented control over every aspect of live sound. Each of the mixer's channels has its own rack capable of running up to eight Waves or third-party plug-ins. This means we can mix live with hundreds of our favorite plug-ins, all running inside the mixer itself. Likewise, all saved presets can be shared with Waves MultiRack and StudioRack, allowing you to move seamlessly between live and studio environments.
Each of the mixer's channel strips (EQ, filter, and dynamics processing) is provided by the Waves eMo plug-ins: eMo D5 Dynamics, eMo F2 Filter, and eMo Q4 Equalizer. All of them are included with the eMotion LV1 mixer.
Waves eMotion LV1 comes in 64-, 32-, or 16-channel configurations.
