OSX Yosemite MacWith the classic evolution of operating systems, we all panic at the prospect of driver incompatibilities with our peripherals. That was the case with Yosemite for Mac, OS X 10.10, with Sibelius and Media Composer. Compatibility that took quite a long time to arrive. As of December 18, Apple users finally have the option to update our systems with some of Avid's software and part of its hardware lineup.

After Avid's announcement that Pro Tools 11 was incompatible with Yosemite, on December 16 the drivers that will let us use these interfaces with Sibelius, ISIS and Media Composer hit the street. You can download them here.

Unfortunately, Pro Tools 11 is still left out, and the company has also announced that versions 10.x and earlier will not be tested for Yosemite compatibility. You can consult this table to see compatibility between operating systems and Pro Tools
