BOSS WAZA CRAFT PEDALSThe new BOSS Waza Craft pedals have just been unveiled.

With refined circuit designs and all-analog components, this new Waza Craft line offers guitarists professional-grade qualities.

The launch of these special-edition pedals includes the BD-2W Blues Driver, SD-1W Super Overdrive, and DM-2W Delay.

Throughout its history, Waza Craft has developed tools that make high-quality sound possible, and the new pedals follow in that line, offering superior performance thanks to their carefully designed and selected analog components, their highly refined circuits and their attention to the smallest details.

If we look at the meaning, we understand the reason for their success: "Waza," which means "art and technique," is understood in Japan as the level of excellence that is achieved only through years of dedication and commitment to one's craft.

With this as the starting point, BOSS carefully chose the name Waza Craft to capture the enthusiastic spirit of dedication that has gone into developing these pedals. Each Waza Craft pedal bears the Japanese symbol for this word to represent the core idea behind the creation of this new line.

Let's go through each of them and its particular features:

The BD-2W Blues Driver and SD-1W Super Overdrive are two of the most iconic pedals in BOSS's long history; they have been used by guitarists all over the world for decades, and it is precisely because of their technical qualities that they have set the benchmark in this field, being copied by countless brands.

These new versions of the pedals offer the same familiar controls found on the originals, but a sound mode has been added: the standard mode (the "S" position) delivers the classic sound character.

On the BD-2W, the Custom ("C") mode offers a new, full-bodied sound, while the custom mode on the SD-1W offers a new tonal range and more gain.

In essence, the custom mode on each one offers the possibility of customizing the tone with a "modded" approach, making it variable and fresh for those who know and master the world of pedals.

The Waza Craft DM-2W, for its part, is based on the legendary DM pedal, but modified and expanded with two different sound modes and greater versatility for today's musical styles.

Its circuits are 100% analog, and it also adds a BBD delay line.

The standard mode on the DM-2W perfectly captures the fat tone and offers 20-300V more delay range than the original.

Thanks to its customizable functions, you can change the sound character to a cleaner analog tone with more than double the available delay time.

This pedal also incorporates an interesting feature from the DM-3: the ability to output the direct and delayed sounds separately.

This is ideal for creating stereo effects with the help of two amplifiers on stage or in the studio.

Finally, the DM-2W also has a jack for an expression pedal to control the delay level, a feature unique to this model that was not included in previous models.
