Fender® Introduces the ’68 Custom Series AmplifiersThe amps pay tribute to the classic look, sound and performance of the silver-face amps, but come with some special features.

Fender is proud to introduce the ’68 Custom Series amplifiers: the ’68 Custom Twin Reverb®, the ’68 Custom Deluxe Reverb® and the ’68 Custom Princeton Reverb®. 1968 was a transitional year for Fender amplifiers, with a sound that was still pure Fender but with a brand-new look. With a silver and turquoise front panel and classic aluminum grille trim, the ’68 Custom amps pay tribute to the classic look, sound and performance of the late-’60s "silver-face" Fender amplifiers, while offering some special features.

Both channels are loaded with reverb and tremolo, and the "custom" channels feature a modified version of the classic Bassman® sound that offers modern players greater tonal flexibility with pedals. In addition, all models include custom Schumacher transformers (like the originals), Celestion® speakers and tube-driven spring reverb, which bring them a step closer to rock'n'roll. The Twin Reverb has always been the backline amp of choice for professionals and amateurs alike all over the world. Crisp, deep and powerful, it delivers great tube tone with top-quality Fender reverb and vibrato effects. For countless guitarists, the Twin Reverb has been the go-to amp for the classic Fender sound ever since. The ’68 Custom Twin Reverb Amp delivers 85 watts of tube power through two 12" Celestion® G12V-70 speakers. The Deluxe Reverb has always been the ideal amp for both recording and playing live. Small, light and moderately powered, it produced great tube tone. The ’68 Custom Deluxe Reverb Amp is a 22-watt amp with a 12" Celestion® G12V-70 speaker. The Princeton Reverb has always been the perfect recording amp. The ’68 Custom Princeton Reverb is a 12-watt amp featuring a 10" Celestion® TEN 30 speaker.
