Back by popular demand, the signature model pays tribute to the popular Blur guitarist.
Back by popular demand: Graham Coxon, honored by this signature model, emerged from the Britpop movement of the '90s as one of the UK's most acclaimed and distinctive modern guitarists. Throughout his successful career with Blur and his acclaimed solo career, his instrument of choice has mostly been a Telecaster. Fender originally released the Graham Coxon Telecaster signature guitar in 2011. Now, due to huge popular demand, Fender is releasing this guitar again.
Coxon is known as one of modern rock's most avid Telecaster fans. "The first guitar I ever got my hands on," he said, and "one of the guitars I often drew and dreamed about when I was at school."
Now he has one bearing his own name. The Graham Coxon Telecaster features a distinctive combination of an ash body with a Blonde finish, a tortoiseshell pickguard, a vintage-style Telecaster single-coil bridge pickup and a black-bezeled Seymour Duncan® '59 SH-1 neck humbucker for a tonal range that goes from the crispest sound to the warmest. Other features include a C-shaped maple neck with a gloss urethane finish, a 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets, a three-way switch with a "top hat" knob, chrome knurled knobs with 375k volume and tone pots that give a brighter sound from both pickups, a vintage-style Telecaster bridge with three threaded steel saddles, chrome hardware, vintage-style tuners, a '70s-style headstock logo and Coxon's signature on the back of the headstock.
