Ui24R offers 24 input channels, the legendary signal processing from Lexicon, dbx and DigiTech, intuitive wireless control and integration with other systems in the Harman Connected PA family. Harman recently announced the launch of the new Ui24R, a complete digital mixing and multitrack recording system that delivers flexible inputs and outputs, impeccable sound quality, intuitive wireless control and tour-proof reliability.
All in an optimized design. The system can be controlled by up to 10 devices via Ethernet or through built-in dual-band Wi-Fi, allowing you to control the mix and multitrack recording wirelessly. The famous signal processing from Lexicon, dbx and DigiTech ensures crystal-clear sound quality, while 20 Studer-designed mic preamps deliver more professional inputs than any other mixer in its class. The compact, rackmountable Ui24R is part of the new Harman Connected PA product ecosystem (also recently launched) and offers unprecedented control, versatility and power at an incredible cost.
"The Soundcraft Ui24R mixing and multitrack recording system delivers the power and capabilities of a large-format console in a compact, practical solution," says Scott Wood, Solutions Manager, Mixing at Harman Professional Solutions. "High-quality technology and components, including the famous signal processing from Lexicon, dbx and DigiTech as well as Studer preamps, deliver incredible results for rehearsals, performances, recording and much more. Whether for live or studio use, the Ui24R is the ultimate system for artists, venue owners and engineers who need to save space and deliver superior sound."

The Ui24R offers 24 input channels, including 10 combo/XLR, 10 XLR, 2 line-level and 2 digital mix channels, for a total of 24 simultaneous inputs. The famous Studer preamps deliver a sound richer in detail for multitrack recording and live performance applications. In turn, the iconic Lexicon effects (reverbs, choruses and delays), along with dbx compression, give polished results on vocals, acoustic guitars and other sources. The dbx AFS2 automatic feedback suppression is available on all monitor outputs, providing an excellent live experience. In addition, two DigiTech guitar and amp modeling channels add a set of effects for any performance or recording, which is especially useful when you need to work at low volumes.
The Ui24R redefines the live mixing experience, giving engineers the freedom to control mixes from anywhere in the room. Up to 10 devices can be connected at once over dual-band Wi-Fi, so musicians can adjust their individual mix on stage while PA techs optimize the sound in the room. Thanks to HTML5 compatibility, the system can be controlled from any modern web browser, including iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS and Linux devices, without installing any app.
The Ui24R lets engineers and musicians record their stereo mix in duplicate, along with the 22 multitrack inputs, directly to a USB drive and to a computer connected to the system. The Ui24R is also ideal as the core of a home multitrack recording studio, thanks to its easy integration with any DAW system through its USB interface.

The Soundcraft Ui24R system is part of the HARMAN Connected PA product family and is fully compatible with the new app of the same name (available in the second quarter of 2017) for simple control, fast setup and better results. The Connected PA app eliminates the need for multiple apps or graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and offers seamless plug-and-play operation with a wide variety of Harman equipment, so users can control their entire PA system with a single app. Products in the Connected PA ecosystem identify themselves to the new app automatically, so setup is effortless. In addition, the setup wizard helps users optimize volume and other parameters quickly, which all adds up to better sound quality.
