The new members of the Orion family offer unmatched sonic excellence, versatility and FPGA FX (with 64 audio channels over HDX and USB3).
Antelope Audio, a market-leading interface company specializing in vintage FX modeling with Field Programmable Gate Arrays, has announced the launch of the Orion32 HD. As previously announced at NAMM 2017, priced at $3,495, the Orion32 HD is the third member of the Orion32 family and offers native and Pro Tools HD compatibility, plus 64 channels of pristine audio quality at 192kHz over HDX or USB3 with zero monitoring latency.

Powered by Antelope's legendary 64-bit Acoustically Focused Clocking (AFC) technology, the Orion32 HD supports multiple monitor mixes and works with any DAW on the market. The unrivaled integration of its Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)-based DSP processing engines makes the unit capable of mixing and tracking through a wide selection of custom vintage effects in real time. It is also built into a beautiful black chassis that takes up just one rack space and needs no fan or extra machinery.
With HDX, USB3, MADI, ADAT and S/PDIF connectivity and 32-in/32-out analog I/O via DB25, the Orion32 HD has all the connectivity needed for a wide variety of studio setups. The routing versatility of the Orion32 HD and its mixing software for Mac and Windows extend the unit's possibilities. It now also comes with Antelope's classic color-coded matrix and a much simpler, more intuitive alternative view. It also includes movable, resizable panels to make it easier to use on the computer, especially in multi-screen setups.
The Orion32 HD delivers truly clear, rigorous conversion thanks to Antelope's finest AFC technology. Like the OCX HD and Trinity, the Orion32 HD captures audio flawlessly and accurately.
Two Word Clock or Loopsync outputs put Orion at the center of your recordings and take it to another level when connected to Antelope Audio's clock inputs. In addition, the Orion32 HD includes a mastering-grade monitor output, taken from the famous Pure2 Mastering Converter, to guarantee signal integrity. For all these reasons, the Orion32 HD is the perfect companion for Antelope's MP32 microphone preamp and the Satori monitoring controller.
Antelope has been revolutionizing audio processing for years with its FPGA effects, providing hardware models of the most sought-after vintage effects with near-zero latency. Its library of free FPGA effects is constantly growing and already includes a wide collection of EQs, compressors and guitar amp models based on analog gear used on hit records. Antelope's fast FPGA processor helps these effects feel perfect and behave as if they were being used on the hardware they were built for.
Designed for efficiency, the Orion32 HD needs no internal fans, keeping the studio free of noise pollution without the need for additional isolation racks. It also requires just a single rack space to deliver 64 input and output channels. This makes it perfect for both small studios and large, crowded ones.
