Pioneer DJ introduces the DDJ-200, its new smart DJ controller, compatible with smartphones and iPhone. For just €159, the DDJ-200 makes it easy to start DJing with the help of the tutorial feature in its app, WeDJTM for iPhone (ver. 2.0), which you can download for free from the App Store. For more than 25 years Pioneer DJ has been making DJ equipment, software, professional audio gear and music production tools used by everyone from beginner DJs to world-famous stars. Now the DDJ-200 lets anyone, regardless of musical or technical knowledge, start DJing intuitively.

iOS/Android App Compatibility and Streaming Support
Connect the DDJ-200 to your iPhone and mix songs from iTunes through the WeDJ app. Or connect the software to SoundCloud Go+ and the new streaming service Beatport LINK (Beatport) to access a huge number of music tracks online. Download Algoriddim's djay app for iOS to mix tracks from Spotify (a Premium account is required), or download MWM SAS's edjing Mix app for iOS/Android and access Deezer content.
The button layout on the DDJ-200 is inherited from the design of Pioneer's professional DJ gear, making it easier to get down to work and quickly find all the controls you need. To help you get familiar with DJing as quickly as possible, Pioneer DJ adds Tutorial and Transition FX features, well known among beginners, to the WeDJ app for iPhone.
The DDJ-200 is available from May 2019 at a suggested retail price of €159, VAT included. The smart DJ controller is compatible with WeDJ for iPhone and with the professional PC/Mac app, rekordbox dj (valued at €139). Simply download the software on your compatible device, connect the controller and start DJing.
To keep the DDJ-200 safe from bumps and scratches on the road, the DJC-200 BAG is also available from May at a suggested retail price of €49. The DJ controller fits perfectly in the custom-designed protective bag with molded Durashock EVA, impact-resistant padded foam, black ballistic polyester and a soft, glossy lining.

Phrase analysis algorithms (choruses) analyze the structure of tracks and detect groups of bars. Using the corresponding buttons in WeDJ for iPhone, Phrase Sync uses this analysis information to align the start and end positions of phrases on two tracks so you can be sure the mix will sound natural when you switch from one track to another.
