PRS adagio

Adagio adds the American brand PRS to its distribution catalog. As of April 1, Grupo Adagio, a leading musical instrument distributor, is the new distributor of PRS guitars for Spain and Portugal. Founded in Maryland by guitarist and luthier Paul Reed Smith 30 years ago, it is a world-class brand prized by musicians and collectors for the beauty of its finishes and its careful, meticulous attention to the smallest detail.

One of the brand's most important principles is the selection of materials. All its guitars are made from high-quality wood with premium finishes. Despite the modernization of manufacturing, many processes, such as polishing and finishing, are still done by hand to guarantee a perfect instrument.

The results of PRS guitars are based on decades of testing, rethinking and reinventing in the pursuit of perfection. Always with the same brand philosophy: believe in your dreams. (*photo: Al di Meola PRS Signature)

Al Di Meola PRS

Great jazz, rock, blues and even metal guitarists use the brand. Ted Nugent was the pioneer in playing a PRS, and he has been followed by guitarists such as Carlos Santana, Alex Lifeson (Rush), Al Di Meola, Neal Schon (Journey), Mike Oldfield, Mark Tremonti and Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction – Red Hot Chili Peppers), Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park), Orianthi Panagaris, Wes Borland and Mike Smith (Limp Bizkit) and Marty Friedman (Megadeth).

With the addition of PRS Guitars to its portfolio of brands, Grupo Adagio now covers the sale of top-of-the-line guitars for professional musicians.

But PRS didn't want to leave other guitarists out, launching a more affordable series, the PRS SE (Student Edition), a more accessible series made in Korea and Indonesia that gives amateur and beginning musicians access to the essence of the brand with a value for money that's hard to find in any other brand.
