London's M4 motorway may cut through the middle of Boston Manor Park in Brentford, but when the Junction 2 festival takes place, thinking of the space is a bit more complicated than talking about a simple divided park.
Since 2016, electronic music fans have been gathering at this festival to enjoy the best DJs in the world. The festival's production values are very high, and it focuses on its audience without distinction, offering every attendee the same (and impressive) sonic experience.
Junction 2 has gradually become one of the capital's major electronic events. This year's June edition had completely sold out.
But, as we well know, the pandemic arrived in 2020 to stay for several months, and the festival was forced to stay closed. That didn't stop the festival from going ahead in its first online version, though.

So, on Saturday, July 11, J2v put on a spectacular six-hour broadcast. The guest artists performed from the event's four virtual stages, and the experience was truly overwhelming.
More than three million people came together to attend J2v. On one of the stages, which featured Anastasia Kristensen, Daniel Avery, Maya Jane Coles, Nina Kraviz and Sama' Abdulhadi, there were six stacks of Pioneer Pro Audio GS-Wave cabinets placed on both sides of the virtual stage. The result was amazing, and the gear looked great.
Mark Grotefeld, general manager of Pioneer Pro Audio and one of the people who conceived the systems for the event, commented: "It's great to see the reception our gear has had. The GS looked impressive and kept the millions of fans who were so eagerly awaiting J2v entertained."
