Behringer X Air XR18 and HK Audio on Tour

All the mixing and production duties fall to Behringer's X-Air XR18 digital mixer, a true live workhorse based on the acclaimed X32 console. The touring model delivers 18 inputs with Midas preamps, a WiFi router and four stereo processors with around 50 effects, expandable through firmware downloads. Among the XR18's additional features, we'd highlight its multichannel audio/MIDI interface, USB and Ultranet connectivity, and its universality based on compatibility with PC, Mac, Linux, and iOS and Android devices.

The rock & roll cover band The Buddy Weisers continues its tour of small-format concerts through several Spanish towns. It's Budweiser's way of recognizing the venues and consumers of its beer, and the tour is sponsored by Adagio Distribución in Spain.

The HK-Audio Elements system is an ideal solution when easy transport and installation versatility are required, adapting to different setups in each venue, with great power and a line array configuration. The setup chosen for The Buddy Weisers' tour includes E-110 (600W)/E-110AS (1200W) powered subwoofers, E-435 cabinets with diffuser bars and a 600W E-600A amplifier.

Microphones are handled by Samson's Synth 7, a new premium UHF wireless system with handheld mics that features solid metal construction in both the UH7 transducer/transmitter and the UR7 receiver. The Q8 dynamic mic has an LCD display showing battery level and operating channel, with a working range of 90 meters and up to 15 hours of run time on just two AA batteries. For its part, the UR7 wireless receiver works across 100 channels in the 25MHz band, links automatically to the transmitter, and has an informative full-color LCD and a spectrum analyzer.
