Tesira®2.0 expands its range of audio products, giving them greater simplicity and flexibility at every size.
Its manufacturer, Biamp Systems, a leader in networked audio systems, has developed Tesira®2.0, which is currently its flagship line of DSP systems.
Tesira FORTÉ is a line of processors that expand the possibilities of the Audio Video Bridging (AVB) protocol.
Justin O’Connor, Audio Product Manager at Biamp Systems, says of these additions: “At the enterprise level, our Tesira product family has been widely recognized since its launch, and now, with Tesira FORTÉ, we are extending that sophisticated technology to specific applications, bringing exceptional AVB audio solutions to everyday applications. And the new DAN-1 card for servers is the latest addition, allowing the power of the Tesira platform to reach a greater number of audio systems.”
It consists of eight models with fixed inputs and outputs that can be used with or without this AVB system, with no effect on quality or performance.
These processors include a Biamp DAN-1 DANTE card for Tesira line servers, which can carry 64x64 channels on a single network and, with the DAN-1 card, integrate systems on DANTE networks, and can also be used alongside AVB and/or CobraNet on the same server.
In addition, the firmware and software have been improved so that two servers can run redundantly; that is, if the main server fails, the secondary one takes over, since it works as a mirror of the primary.
The Tesira network can be controlled and adjusted either centrally or remotely.
Each Tesira FORTÉ comes equipped with 12 mic/line inputs and 8 mic/line outputs, 4-pin GPIO and 128x128 AVB channels.
The four models that expand this range are:
Tesira FORTÉ AI, a basic audio interface that brings higher audio quality to small and medium-sized installations.
Tesira FORTÉ CI, which includes SONA AEC technology with all the conferencing applications you need.
Tesira FORTÉ TI, designed for conferencing, which also provides an analog telephone line and the best AEC technology.
And finally, Tesira FORTÉ VI, a VoIP conferencing solution with SONA AEC technology.
It should be added that they are already on the market and each of them can be used with or without AVB; they also include 8 channels of USB audio, enabling direct connection to other devices for video/teleconferencing, recording or music applications.
