The Black Satin kit includes 9000 Series hardware, pedals and a Reverse Edge snare. The musician is very happy to be part of the DW family and says the new kit "sounds better than any I've played before and, on top of that, looks beautiful." Derrick Wright lives in New York and is the son of gospel legend Timothy Wright.
Beyond drumming, Wright has earned the right to be considered a gospel celebrity in his own right. He has also worked with seven-time Grammy winner Toni Braxton. The "Adele Live 2016" world tour, which began earlier this year and runs until November, will visit several European countries, North America and Mexico.
