ALTO is quickly gaining ground in the pro audio sector thanks to well-designed products of excellent quality, as well as the diversity of solutions it offers in sound processors, mixing consoles and loudspeaker cabinets.
Now, for the first time, ALTO offers the possibility of an affordable line array system with all the features needed to cover medium and large events with optimal coverage.
Alto's Research and Development department has been designing sound reinforcement systems for several years, mainly power amplifiers and loudspeaker cabinets. It's in the latter category that we find the brand's most recent new product: the REVO1 line array system.
The new ALTO Revo line array allows different combinations of REVO SAT 208P cabinets and REVO SUB 118P subwoofers to be configured. Amplification and processing are handled by the D4 power amps and the MaxiDrive 3.4+ programmable digital processor.
This line array system is born with three points that set it apart from similar products:
- Great simplicity. REVO is quick and easy to set up. Other types of arrays require several hours of setup by qualified staff. In contrast, REVO can be set up in a few minutes and deliver great results without the involvement of engineers. It's a "ready-to-use" product.
- Very affordable. Many musicians and bands need a compact audio system that can meet their needs. You could say REVO is the "line array for everyone." It's even a very convenient system as a "second rig" for sound rental companies.
- Maximum versatility. The REVO system can be configured in different ways to match power and space requirements. Up to six units per side can be flown for maximum power.

MaxiDrive 3.4+
Signal processor for PA systems. It can work as a stereo three-way crossover or as a 3/4/5/6-way mono crossover. It has six outputs with individual delay adjustment of up to 600ms. Polarity and phase adjustment, filters up to 48dB/octave, 128 user memories, MIDI controllable. AES/EBU digital input/output. Software controllable via RS232 port.
Three pieces of hardware are available for mounting and flying the cabinets:
FB-1 Pair of flying bars for lifting and hanging an array of up to six units per side. The bar has different hanging holes to achieve different coverage angles.
SUB-HD Pair of side bars for the subwoofers, allowing two SUB 118P cabinets to be connected.
SAT-HD Pair of side bars for the SAT 208P modules.
