New Allen & Heath Qu Chrome Series MixersThe new Allen&Heath Qu Chrome series mixers bring the standout features of the large professional mixing systems used on tours and in theater within reach of a wide range of users. Designed for both studio and live use.

Total scene recall, a touchscreen, full wireless control via iPad and direct multitrack recording to USB, without a computer, are just some of the features of these advanced, elegant systems. The Allen&Heath Qu Chrome series mixers are synonymous with high performance in digital audio mixing, and they've been designed for bands, pubs, restaurants with live music, schools, hotels, conference rooms, auditoriums and much more.

General features: All four models in the range share features such as "total recall" of mix, effects and preamps; a touchscreen; stereo or multitrack recording directly to USB (no computer needed), as well as multitrack playback from USB thanks to the QuDrive application; remote control via iPad; a multichannel audio interface, DAW control and much more. All models can also have remote inputs/outputs on stage thanks to the optional AB168, AR84 and AR2412 racks, which connect at distances of up to 120 meters over Cat5 cabling. Another standout feature is Automatic Microphone Mixing (AMM), which is vital in conferences, meetings, debates and speech applications in general, where several microphones are open at the same time. In these cases, the automatic mixing function prevents background noise or the risk of feedback by lowering the level of, or even automatically muting, the microphones not in use.

Audio quality and powerful effects: In terms of audio quality, the mic and line inputs on the Qu Chrome models feature highly transparent AnaLOGIQ preamps. In addition, all four models are equipped with full channel processing (dynamics, parametric EQ, etc.), powerful effects, RTA metering and a spectrum analyzer.
