Bose Professional introduces its new Bose L1 Pro family of portable line array systems, the next step in the development of a PA category Bose invented 17 years ago with the launch of the original L1.
The L1 Pro systems mark the beginning of a new era for singers and solo musicians, mobile DJs and bands of every genre who need audio gear to provide sound in all kinds of venues. The three new models in the L1 Pro line (L1 Pro8, L1 Pro16 and L1 Pro32, with the option of two subwoofers) offer the renowned 180° horizontal coverage with unmatched tonal balance and clarity.

The exclusive RaceTrack woofer design, built into the L1 Pro8, L1 Pro16 and the modular Bose Sub1 and Sub2 subwoofers, provides extended bass response in a smaller unit, making it easier to transport and set up and reducing its footprint on stage. The built-in multichannel mixers offer EQ, reverb and phantom power, Bluetooth® connectivity and access to the complete library of custom ToneMatch EQ presets, letting performers play with the tonal quality of a recording studio.

These three new portable sound systems are designed to offer artists a range of options, adapt to different styles and audiences, and provide an impressive solution for creators returning to live performance and looking to deliver listening experiences from outdoor venues and online platforms around the world.
The ultra-portable L1 Pro8 is a perfect solution for intimate spaces and small groups; the portable L1 Pro16, with strong bass performance, is ideal for small to medium spaces, while the L1 Pro32 offers high performance in an unrivaled portable system for large audiences. Thanks to a modular design, the L1 Pro systems are easy to pack, move and set up, and this new generation offers a truly surprising size-to-performance ratio.
The Bose L1 Pro portable systems are complemented by the L1 Mix app, available for Android and iOS, which puts complete wireless control in users' hands for making immediate adjustments with intuitive, instant controls.
Musicians or DJs can control the mixer settings from a smartphone or tablet on stage, or even walk around the venue, hear how the mix sounds and adjust it immediately.
Tone and volume settings can also be changed in the app, and users will see the LED encoder move to match; the mixer and the app are always synced in real time.
L1 Pro8: ultra-portable with wide coverage
The L1 Pro8 is incredibly portable, weighing just 17.7 kg. It's an ideal companion for shows in small spaces, such as bars and coffee shops, and its slim, attractive design lets artists take advantage of its simple setup and superior clarity. As the most portable L1 Pro system, the L1 Pro8 makes it easy to go from the trunk of a car to the stage in a single trip.
• The “C”-shaped line array features eight articulated 2" neodymium drivers; 180° horizontal coverage with wide vertical dispersion lets the audience hear clearly whether they're sitting or standing, and even at the far edges of small to medium venues.
• The built-in 7" × 13" subwoofer features a high-excursion RaceTrack driver with performance that rivals a conventional 12” woofer, in a smaller size.
L1 Pro16: versatile coverage
The L1 Pro16 skillfully balances power and portability, offering an optimized system with high output and extended low-frequency response. Weighing just 24.4 kg, it's the perfect choice for DJs, singer-songwriters and small groups performing in small to medium clubs and bars. Users get a portable system that makes the most of the available space, both in their vehicle and on stage, while delivering extended bandwidth.

On the back, each L1 Pro system features a built-in mixer so musicians and engineers can easily connect various instruments, mics and other sources. The mixer includes two XLR-1/4" combo inputs with phantom power, plus 1/4" and 1/8" (3.5 mm) aux inputs.

In addition, illuminated rotary controls provide instant access to volume, tone and reverb settings for each channel. Additional instruments and audio sources can even be added via a dedicated ToneMatch port, where a single cable carries both power and digital audio between the system and an optional Bose T4S or T8S mixer (sold separately).
