The MAUI® P900, LD Systems' ergonomic high-end column system, is now available. It combines state-of-the-art audio technology with an unmistakable design that came out of a collaboration with the design agency “Studio F. A. Pioneering Technology
In total, the 50 neodymium drivers and 1,400 watts RMS of Class D amplification in this revolutionary column system generate a maximum output of 131 dB with a frequency response of 42 to 20,000 Hz. The MAUI® P900 uses SonicGuide® technology with LD Systems' patented WaveAhead® tweeter configuration to form a coherent wavefront. With its wide (140°) horizontal dispersion and tightly focused vertical dispersion, the system achieves enormous reach and covers the sound field evenly. LD Systems' 24-bit DynX® signal processing ensures crisp, dynamic reproduction that stays distortion-free, even with the volume cranked. In addition, aptX™ and AAC encoding deliver high-definition Bluetooth® streaming with full audio bandwidth and a range of 70 meters. TrueWireless Stereo™ technology enables wireless stereo playback with two systems that can be placed up to 40 meters apart.
Setup in Seconds
The three-piece MAUI® P900 column system is built on a highly durable aluminum construction with a multilayer elastic front grille and sets up in seconds without any additional cables, thanks to the multi-pin connector developed specifically for this system. A minimalist connection panel provides volume controls for the overall system and for the subwoofer, two XLR sockets as a stereo input and two XLR outputs for a wired stereo setup of the two systems.
Reliable Protection
For safe transport and protection of the system, padded carry bags for the columns and the subwoofer are available as accessories, as well as a flightcase built especially for the MAUI® P900 with high-quality hardware and precisely cut foam inserts.
