The new Bose® S1 Pro is a portable PA system, floor monitor, practice amplifier and Bluetooth® music system . Recently introduced at the NAMM Show, Bose is launching its new multi-position S1 Pro portable PA system. The novel all-in-one system is a PA system, a floor monitor, a practice amp and a music system, and is the latest addition to the Bose® Professional portable product line.
It is designed for singer-songwriters, DJs, musicians and other PA uses, and to that end it uses the technology found in the Bose L1® and F1 portable systems. The S1 Pro lets users sound great anywhere. The S1 Pro truly combines performance, portability and versatility, ready to go whenever and wherever you want.
Its weight and dimensions guarantee portability. It weighs just 6.8 kg, and its dimensions are 330 x 241 x 286 mm, so it even fits in an airplane's overhead compartment.
The S1 Pro is designed to be used in four different positions to suit a wide variety of applications: tilted back, elevated, mounted on a stand or placed on its side (as a floor monitor). Built-in sensors detect changes in position and automatically adapt the EQ, recalibrating the internal settings for each location/application and making sure users always sound their best in any position.
The S1 Pro has a three-channel mixer. The two XLR/jack channels include reverb and tone control. The third channel is for connecting a line signal via 3.5 mm or Bluetooth® wireless connectivity. It also has a jack line output that makes it easy to expand to other systems.
The wireless channel lets you play music from a mobile device over Bluetooth (a great option for playing backing tracks or background music), while we get the best sound from microphones and instruments thanks to the built-in ToneMatch® processing. In addition, users can get hours of playback anywhere with the optional rechargeable lithium battery.
