Probably because we need versatile, easy-to-carry gear that can save the day at any small or mid-sized event, which is what's mostly being done these days. Following these developments comes the JBL EON ONE, one of the most eagerly awaited systems, which we already had a look at at Musikmesse , Prolight Sound 2016
In a sleek column-style design, the EON ONE system offers JBL's exceptional sound quality, a 6-channel mixer and Bluetooth audio.
Created by the world leaders in loudspeakers and line-array technology, the EON ONE combines the superior sound quality of a professional sound system with the convenience and streamlined look of a compact, column-style solution. Including Bluetooth audio, a six-channel mixer and a unique design that lets you carry it with just one hand, the EON ONE is ideal for traveling musicians and DJs, coffee shops, gyms, corporate events and other similar applications.
With a maximum SPL of 118dB, the EON ONE delivers detailed, distortion-free sound. A 10" bass-reflex subwoofer provides precise, tight low-frequency response, ideal for DJs and for playing back recorded music. The high-frequency section features Directivity Control Geometry technology (patent pending), which optimizes the spacing and angles of the 6 two-inch high-frequency transducers. This creates extraordinarily even coverage, ensuring that anyone in the listening area can enjoy consistent, accurate sound.
The built-in 6-channel mixer lets users connect microphones, acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards and other sound sources. The mixer also includes bass, treble and reverb controls to let you optimize the sound. The ability to receive audio via Bluetooth makes it much easier to play music from smartphones, tablets and other devices. The EON ONE is the first truly "all-in-one" line-array PA system, and what's more, it can be carried with just one hand.
The high-frequency section and two extension poles fit neatly inside the base unit, for streamlined assembly. Users can set up the system in a matter of seconds, choosing the right number of extensions to optimize the sound for each application. Two extensions provide long-throw sound for concerts and large audiences, while a single extension is ideal for conferences, gyms and medium-sized groups. For small gatherings and private events, users can place the high-frequency section directly on the base unit.
