The new Soundcraft mixers feature Lexicon digital signal processing and USB I/O connectivity to record and play back music from a computer. The Notepad-5, Notepad-8FX and Notepad-12FX are analog desktop mixers that incorporate HARMAN signal processing technology and offer USB I/O connectivity.
Optimized to meet today's challenges, the new Soundcraft Notepad mixers offer tempting value for money and performance for podcasters, singer-songwriters and audio professionals who need small-format mixing solutions.
“Historically, Soundcraft Notepad mixers have always been highly valued by musicians and audio professionals looking for small, high-quality desktop mixers”, explains Scott Wood, Mixers Solutions Manager, HARMAN Professional Solutions. “The new generation of Notepad keeps the core features and adds legendary Lexicon signal processing and USB I/O connectivity, but at an entry-level price.”
In addition to rugged construction and high-quality components, Soundcraft Notepad mixers include professional mic preamps with surprising audio quality for all kinds of applications, XLR/jack mic/line combo inputs to make connecting pro audio gear easy, and balanced 1/4" (6.3 mm) jack inputs for connecting keyboards, players, etc. USB I/O connectivity lets you easily record and play back using digital audio workstations or audio/video workstations. In addition, Notepad-8FX and Notepad-12FX users can also enhance their audio using the famous HARMAN DSP, which includes Lexicon reverb, chorus and delay effects with Tap Tempo control.
Designed for comfort and ease of use. Their traditional channel-strip layout provides quick, efficient access to the desired channels and sends. The 3-band EQ on each channel is perfect for making simple adjustments to incoming audio signals. An Aux/FX send makes it easy to send audio signals to external effects units or to the internal Lexicon DSP. A master fader with an LED meter lets you control the stereo XLR output level. There is also a rotary headphone control for easily managing mix or aux output levels.
