Discover the Pioneer DJ DJM-S11

Pioneer DJ introduces the DJM-S11. A new professional 2-channel, 4-deck-control mixer, it improves on several elements of its predecessor, the DJM-S9, and offers a range of completely new features to help DJs play more freely with Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox.

When scratching and doing mash-ups on the fly, every second counts. The customizable 4.3-inch touchscreen shows all the information you need, so when DJing with the DJM-S11 your concentration stays focused on the mix. It lets you browse tracks, check playback positions and waveforms, and dynamically change the texture of the music by moving your finger across the Touch FX screen. With Touch MIDI, you can even trigger functions in the DJ software. All of this lets you keep your concentration, and your eyes, on the mixer during your performance.

Including more sounds in your sets can make the difference between a good and an excellent crowd reaction. In a battle, it could even take an artist from second to first place on the podium. Thanks to Deck 3/4 Control, up to four tracks can be played at once.

The additional decks appear on the touchscreen with a selection of controls so you can browse and load tracks, adjust EQs, set loops, trigger Hot Cues and more

If you use Serato DJ Pro, Deck Move lets you move tracks from deck 1 to 4 and from deck 2 to 3 without interrupting the music, freeing up the main decks so you can get ready to drop the next track. You can also activate Dual Deck control to use a fader, button or control vinyl to manipulate the tracks loaded on decks 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. This means you can scratch two tracks at once, add effects or adjust their volume simultaneously.

Besides a different look, there are also notable improvements in how the DJM S11 feels compared with its predecessor. Its Performance Pads are larger and the MAGVEL FADER PRO has been reinforced to provide more stability when scratching. As for its new controls, there's a host of new features, including Smooth Echo, a new effect that can be triggered automatically when you move the faders or press the pads assigned as triggers. Sound quality has also been improved, with clear, powerful audio that reflects every nuance of any performance.

Every DJ is unique, and so is their setup. The DJM-S11 has been specially designed so you can play freely and effortlessly

Its built-in USB hub lets you connect directly to a CDJ and to the DDJ-XP2. It also works with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox right out of the box with no license keys needed, so you just plug in and play. If you want to use another DJ application, no problem, since every fader, knob and button is fully MIDI-mappable.

DJs who want to add a distinctive aesthetic can choose the DJM-S11-SE. This special edition of the mixer inherits styling elements from the classic DJM-909, which was launched in 2004 and remains a favorite of purists to this day.

The DJM-S11 is now available from local dealers at a suggested retail price of €1999, while the DJM-S11-SE will be available from local dealers from mid-October at a suggested retail price of €2,099.
