Misha Mansoor is acclaimed for his masterful guitar work with progressive metal band Periphery. Now Misha himself and Jackson have worked closely together on the Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT6 and HT7 guitars, all-new models unlike anything Jackson has seen or heard before. The instrument is handmade with a Jackson body shape inspired by the Dinky.
It features elegant scalloped horns, a contoured neck heel and a fabulous AAA quilted maple top on the transparent models. The quartersawn maple neck is carved to Mansoor's own custom profile and features graphite reinforcement, ivory-colored binding and heel-mounted spoke wheel truss rod access. The handmade 20"-radius ebony fingerboard has 24 jumbo frets, piranha inlays and fluorescent Luminlay dots.
The guitar's tonal versatility comes from two Mansoor signature Bare Knuckle “Juggernaut” humbuckers with black covers, a 5-way selector and a push-pull (on/off) master tone pot. Other premium features include a Jackson AT1 “reverse” headstock with Hipshot open-gear locking tuners (three per side), a Hipshot hardtail bridge, a single volume pot, black hardware and more. Available finishes are Amber Tiger Eye, Laguna Burst, Matte Black, Matte Blue Frost and Silverburst Sparkle. It includes a black Jackson Custom case with blue trim and Mansoor's “Bulb” logo. Jackson also offers “Bulb” versions of the HT6 and HT7 models, which include a very special Periphery “P” inlay at the 12th fret, signature Bare Knuckle “Juggernaut” humbuckers with polished nickel covers and a matte black anodized aluminum rear cavity cover with a laser-engraved "Bulb" logo.
