Denon DJ MCX8000 Controller With Engine Software Raises the Bar for Performance and Convenience

The MCX8000 hardware and software unit delivers full control of Serato DJ and Denon’s innovative Engine technology in a single device—no computer required! Denon DJ today announced its new MCX8000 DJ controller, featuring its exclusive, groundbreaking Engine software.

The MCX8000 is the first true hardware/software DJ controller to offer full control of both Serato® DJ and Denon DJ Engine technology in the same unit. DJs can use the MCX8000 with their own USB devices and choose to run Denon DJ Engine—with no computer connected! Engine lets DJs import Serato DJ “crates” complete with all their “hot cues”—as well as create their own—using Denon DJ’s Engine software.

With the MCX8000, DJs looking for a complete, flexible solution and the freedom to perform with or without a computer will find that the MCX8000 with the Engine system meets all of their needs: 4-deck Serato control and computer-free Engine operation, plus the ability to switch between local USB drives whether using Serato or Engine. With the MCX8000, two DJs can hand off to each other by combining Engine and Serato DJ. Its metal chassis and high-quality electronics ensure rugged, top-quality performance.

“The new MCX8000 DJ controller with Engine software marks a turning point in the development and performance of DJ hardware and software,” says Ross Goodwin, Product Manager at Denon DJ. He adds, “DJs have been clamoring for a device that does two things: 1) delivers full control of Serato DJ and 2) runs standalone in case the computer fails, and makes it easy and seamless to hand off from one DJ to another. The MCX8000 ushers in a new era of performance, control and flexibility for DJs.”
