The variety of artists who took part in this call, given its band/soloist format and with no genre restrictions, has been very wide. It has let us see what people are up to right now, whether in rock, metal, pop, singer-songwriter, Celtic music, rap, funk, indie rock, etc.
We also received entries from people of different ages, although this was not in itself a barrier to the quality of the bands, since there is a bit of everything regardless of the ages of the group members.
Artists with the most public votes.
Following tradition, we would like to mention the artists and bands that received the most votes in the public polls, open on the ISP Music forum during the public voting period. The artists who received the most clicks were the following:
- Meskalina 31.8%
- Cëltiber 23.8%
- Melquisedec 11.5%
- Ashes 2 Ashes 10.3%
- Sara Lugarda 6.1%
- Synerghia 5.9%
The bands before the jury, and the giveaways
Several artists and groups were on the lips of the ISP Music jury, among whom we should highlight: Neus Ferri (a winner of previous ISP Music vocalist editions); Red Mouse for their good video editing and contemporary, intellectual context; Mustafunk, for the authenticity of the live performance they sent us (intimate and sincere); Pichicho, for their sense of humor; Rebote for their power and tight vibe without losing their humor along the way; Strangeloveband (one of our favorites) for their good stage presence and the experience they ooze within their laid-back vibe; El Capitán Elefante, lots of stage savvy; My Yellowstone—we liked the band's vibe and seeing them in their rehearsal space, as with Onion Smile or Cëltiber, among others (thank you). We also liked the authenticity and truthful performances of many others, such as Man in Between or Young Forest; the good vibes of the band D`Spaldas; and, well, we could praise all of you out of our respect for your work and enthusiasm.
We found standout aspects in almost every entry, although we had to choose the band that struck us as the most solid in terms of its blend of youth, tightness, command of their instruments and the punch of the individual performances of every member who played in the video. We would like to give out more prizes, and having to choose bothers us, since we think there are more people who deserve it.
Winner of the 10th ISP Music Contests: Toni Carrillo. Barcelona.
We also find Toni's video quite illustrative of the atmosphere that can be created, and how, with several very well-known instruments. Nice artillery, guys: Telecaster®, Gibson Lucille® (B.B. King style, 2015), Guild®, Les Paul®, Mesa Boogie®, Marshall®, Jazzbass®. Obviously it isn't the gear used that helped us decide, but the tightness, phrasing and real punch of a band that knows what it's doing with that gear in its hands. Congratulations.

The LD Systems Maui 11 Mix goes to DeLagang. Valencia. We're glad this compact column PA system is landing in this band's hands. They were talked about by the jury, of course. People who know what they're doing, with stage experience, and above all they mix influences and styles with a very interesting vibe. Rapping over bass and acoustic drums, their horns over DJ turntables... anyway, congratulations on being the ones who get the "beast." Keep it up, DeLagang, and keep rocking in the future.

We continue with the giveaway of the Shure® SRH440 headphones: Diego Cartón. Gijón. Asturias. Perfect—along with Neus Ferri, he was one of our favorite solo performers. We loved Diego's vibe, "so genuine," with lots of punch and great chops. We hope that next time your talent wins you meatier prizes. You deserve it.

Giveaway of the Shure@ SE215 earphones: Sara Lugarda. Salamanca. Young, fresh talent. We saw her with her Ovation in hand and great authenticity in her video. Raw, with real guts... We think that with her enthusiasm and good pitch, she can go on to a thriving career. Congratulations.

Last but not least, the pack of 20 Audias Hearsafe ER20s - 30 dB hearing protectors: Babel. Murcia. We're not sure, but we think we've seen one of the guitarists in another ISP Music edition—specifically, one of the guitarist contests. And Nuno Bettencourt himself (honorary jury member for that edition) praised this guitarist's nature; although he still has a way to go because of his youth, he was clearly showing promise. The pack you're getting provides -30 dB of attenuation, so your drummer can now play louder (especially if you share the pack with the neighbors next to the house in the video). We're including an Audias Hearsafe T-shirt in the shipment.
