Dynaudio Studio Monitors for Mixing and MasteringAlthough it was founded in 1977, it wasn't until 1989, with the introduction of "The Craft" studio monitors, that Dynaudio really put itself on the pro audio map. Since then, the company has had major achievements such as its direct collaboration with Volvo to create or refine the stereo sound in its vehicles, and the creation of the renowned Esotar2 tweeter in 2002. Today we'll talk about the LYD series, designed for any kind of mixing and/or mastering.

It consists of four monitors with 5-, 7- and 8-inch drivers, plus the latest addition to the series, a 3-way monitor with an 8" woofer, 4" midrange and 1" tweeter, covering practically the entire frequency range.

LYD 5

The LYD 5 is the smallest of them all. With its 5-inch MSP woofer and advanced DSP, the LYD 5 delivers exceptional performance and incredible precision in the lowest frequencies. Perfect for smaller studios and home studios. Dynaudio monitors are designed to be as neutral as possible, so you get exactly what you need: an accurate reproduction of the mix. The LYD uses lightweight aluminum wire and voice coils in its handmade drivers, along with a state-of-the-art Class D amplifier with a 24-bit/96 kHz signal path and DSP to deliver exceptional performance. Extreme care in the selection of materials and in production allows these monitors to achieve one hundred percent consistency, not only between different pairs but also when mixing pairs or using pairs in different locations. Thanks to their single-driver technology, Dynaudio LYD-5 monitors are neutral and uncolored. Their clarity, combined with their outstanding dynamic capabilities, ensures you can work long hours without ear fatigue.

LYD 7

With its 7-inch MSP woofer and advanced DSP, the LYD 7 delivers exceptional performance and incredible precision in the lowest frequencies. Perfect for small studios and home studios. The LYD 7 uses lightweight aluminum wire and voice coils in its handmade drivers, along with a state-of-the-art Class D amplifier with a 24-bit/96 kHz signal path and DSP to deliver exceptional performance. LYD 48 (Left & Right)

The Dynaudio LYD-48 is a nearfield monitor with a soft-dome tweeter and the patented "Magnesium Silicate Polymer" system in the midrange and bass cones. Each driver is powered by a powerful state-of-the-art amplifier that guarantees a 96kHz/24-bit signal. Finally, with its advanced DSP, the LYD 48 lets you extend the low-frequency response by 10 Hz where needed, while "Position" and "Sound Balance" ensure the best reproduction in any environment.

To this Dynaudio Pro LYD series we could add the 9S and 18S subwoofers.
