Tegeler Audio Manufaktur has released the new Schwerkraftmaschine 1.5.0 software update for its flagship mastering product. The new DAW plug-in controls the entire Schwerkraftmaschine and makes the knobs follow every move. When you save a song with the plug-in, the settings are automatically saved to the Schwerkraftmaschine. Then, when you reload the song, all the settings will be back exactly as they were.
This product brings together all of Tegeler Audio Manufaktur's experience, combined with the feedback it receives on the VTC. The result is a Vari-Mu compressor without equal: "Der Kompressor". Tegeler Audio Manufaktur offers a tool that improves the sound of your music.
In the Schwerkraftmaschine, the signal passes through a total of three transformers and four triode tubes per channel. Why does this matter? Tubes, and triodes in particular, add harmonics to the signal that the human ear perceives as very pleasant, improving our perception of the individual sources. This makes instruments sound warmer and more transparent. Low frequencies become cleaner and better defined, and high frequencies are rounded off. The Schwerkraftmaschine makes the difference between "well mixed" and "sounding perfect".
Compression modes
It generates a digital control signal that offers a flexibility simply not found in analog gear. This makes it possible to emulate the behavior of any existing compressor. The unit was created and optimized through countless listening sessions. All you have to do is choose the right program for each song.
The side-chain filter
The side-chain filter determines which frequency range the compressor will respond to. Avoid pumping by using the low-cut filter, and add weight to high or low frequencies with the tone filter (tilt EQ). The side-chain works separately from the filters built into the compression modes.
Motor control
Each control is fitted with a servo motor that can set the knob to any position.
Network connection
The Schwerkraftmaschine can be connected to a network. This is done automatically via DHCP. As a result, the Schwerkraftmaschine can be controlled from anywhere in the world.

Loading time is much faster and in step with your workflow. Thanks to optimized code, the internal clock speed could be doubled to 88.2 kHz. This allows even more precise control. But there's more: the meter reacts much more naturally.
What's more, thanks to the fixed IP, a direct connection between the computer and the Schwerkraftmaschine is also possible with the new update when no DHCP server is present.
