Matrix2 is a mixing console with an internal router and DAW control, ideal for any hybrid music production studio. Matrix2's analog features combine a 40-input SuperAnalogue summing mixer, a comprehensive monitor switching and talkback system, and an Insert Router that makes it possible to insert outboard processors (individually or chained) very quickly and easily. The control surface, with 16+1 faders, can be switched at the push of a button between two different functions: controlling the analog signal path, or operating as a multilayer control surface for a DAW. The Insert Router built into Matrix2 even allows you to create processor ‘chains,’ so you can recall and insert your favorite combination of processors (mic preamp, EQ and dynamics, for example), instantly swap processors in the chain, or instantly change the processing order, all from the console.
