At Pioneer DJ, they are enhancing the creative possibilities of their professional DJ application, rekordbox, with the introduction of industry-pioneering Vocal Position Detection technology and support for the Beatsource LINK streaming service for open-format DJs.
Using rekordbox for Mac/Windows (ver. 6.0.1) with the Creative subscription plan, you can see when vocals will come in on a track simply by looking at the waveform. This is made possible by deep-learning artificial intelligence technology built into the software's new music analysis algorithm, which Pioneer DJ is developing jointly with the Japanese technology company Qosmo.
By detecting the position of vocals in the music with a high level of accuracy, rekordbox shows you exactly when to expect them, letting you stay one step ahead when mixing and avoid vocal clashes
Want to add new sounds to your sets? Update to rekordbox ver. 6.0.1 and, in Performance mode, choose from millions of tracks in the Beatsource LINK catalog. This new music streaming service for open-format DJs was created by the music distribution website Beatport and the record pool DJcity.
They have also added the XDJ-RX and RB-DMX1 to the list of Hardware Unlock devices, so you can use Performance mode freely whenever either unit is connected to your setup. And if you use the new version of the rekordbox iOS app (ver. 3.0.1), you'll notice improvements across a number of features. Find out more in the App Store's update history.
Music delivered through Beatsource LINK can only be used in Rekordbox Performance mode, not in Export mode or Link Export mode. It isn't possible to import Beatsource LINK music into the rekordbox sampler, and the record and capture functions can't be used when playing tracks from the streaming service.

Prices will go up from July 14, 2020 to 14,99€ (Creative plan) and 9,99€ (Core plan). 4. Auto Upload
Set playlists to Auto Upload when you use Cloud Library Sync on the Creative plan, and every time you add a track it will be uploaded automatically to the cloud for use on your other rekordbox-enabled devices (excluding intelligent playlists).
